Title

Every scent tells a story. The sharp sweetness of orange peel, the earthy depth of pine, the spice of clove — they all hold moments we’ve lived before.

When I pour Christmas Eve, I think of our kitchen on Christmas morning: the warmth of mulled wine simmering on the stove, the sound of laughter drifting through half-open doors. When I light Little Christmas Tree, it takes me to long walks with Finn through frost-covered woods, the kind where you can see your breath and everything feels possible.

We don’t just smell fragrance we feel it. That’s why scent has always been such a powerful part of mindfulness. When you breathe deeply, scent anchors you to a place, a feeling, a memory.

The Emotion of Scent

Our Mood-Boosting Collection was designed with this connection in mind. Back to Happiness is all sunlight and citrus — bright, fresh, and a reminder that joy doesn’t need a reason. Comforting Hug is warmth and safety, a scent that feels like being held.

To complement each blend, NLP practitioner Kathryn Friend created guided meditations that echo their purpose. Her Back to Happiness meditation is a celebration of gratitude — of finding small sparks of joy even in ordinary days.

Try this:
As your candle burns, close your eyes and take one slow breath in through the nose. As you exhale, name three things that made you smile today. They might be tiny — a conversation, a sound, the smell of something baking. That’s all you need to shift your energy.

Light That Holds a Memory

Scent and memory work hand in hand to create comfort. When you light a candle this season, let it remind you that not all traditions need noise — sometimes the most memorable ones are made in quiet.
